We're getting married (we hope)!
Yes, it's a little bit mad to plan a wedding in the midst of a pandemic and the impending doom of WW3 looming. BUT we need some joyful times through these years too so we're forging ahead and hoping for the best.

Ceremony & Celebration

CEREMONY
Arrive from 2:30pm for a 3:00pm ceremony with canapés and reception to follow.
Location: Holly's uncle's property at 41 Banksia Park Road, Boat Harbour / Sisters Beach TAS
Dress: Bush party - fun, with practical footwear and warm layers! It will be a warm day and cool evening. Email Holly for shuttle bus details. CELEBRATION
Food, music and dancing in a paddock!
Pick olives and wildflowers, skinny dip in the ocean, boogie into the night.
*It is the final day of daylight savings, turn back the clocks and enjoy an extra hour of rest that night.

The wedding will mostly take place outdoors and we will take all precautions to protect guests from Covid-19.

Getting to Tasmania
The wedding is in between Sisters Beach and Boat Harbour Beach on the North West Coast of Tasmania. Depending where you are travelling from you can fly into Wynyard, Devonport or Launceston.
FROM NSW:
The simplest way to travel from Sydney is to fly into Launceston or Devonport and hire a car (book cars early as Tassie has limited numbers). There are also flights into Wynyard (our nearest town) but you need to change planes in Melbourne. You can also fly into Hobart and drive up, it's a 4hr drive.
FROM VIC:
Travelling from Victoria you can fly direct to Wynyard or Devonport and rent a car or get the ferry across in your own vehicle.
FROM WA:
Enjoy the new flights direct from Perth to Launceston!

Accommodation
The wedding is at a property between Boat Harbour Beach and Sisters Beach. There are a lot of holiday rental properties in both these areas and there will be a shuttle bus going between these beaches and the wedding venue. If you can't find anything in either of these spots, Wynyard is the nearest big town, 20 minutes away. It's also the best spot to shop for groceries and fuel.
Dress Code
Tasmania can be four seasons in one day. In April it should be relatively dry with warm, sunny days and crisp, cool evenings. The wedding is at a rural property outdoors in a paddock so be sure to pack comfortable shoes and layers to keep warm as well.
